Elvanfoot is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Elvanfoot is located at the confluence of the River Clyde and Elvan Water. The Clyde is crossed by a pedestrian suspension bridge that has been closed since 2007 for want of repair.

The Devil's Beef Tub is a deep, dramatic hollow in the hills north of the Scottish town of Moffat. The 150-metre-deep hollow is formed by four hills, Great Hill, Peat Knowe, Annanhead Hill and Ericstane Hill. Devil’s Beef Tub is situated 4½ miles southeast of Harleburn Head.
