A' Mhaighdean is one of the least accessible of the munros in northern Scotland. It is 8 miles north of Kinlochewe but most easily accessible from Poolewe, taking a private road South East to Kernsary. A‘ Mhaighdean is situated 2 miles southeast of Sgurr na Laocainn.

Ruadh Stac Mor or Ruadh-Stac Mòr is a mountain with a height of 919 metres in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It is located in the Dundonnell and Fisherfield Forest in Wester Ross. Ruadh Stac Mor is situated 2½ miles east of Sgurr na Laocainn.
