Nant-y-moch Reservoir is situated in the Cambrian Mountains in northern Ceredigion, Wales, near Pumlumon. The reservoir which flooded a part of the valley of the River Rheidol and its headwaters derives its name from a stream, the Nant-y-moch, which formerly flowed into the River Rheidol at this spot.

Bont Goch is a village in Ceredigion, Wales, 2 miles northeast of Aberystwyth. With Talybont, it is in the community of Ceulanamaesmawr. The historic name was Elerch, which may be related to the name of the river Leri which flows through the area. Bont Goch is situated 3½ miles west of Llechwedd Gwynau.
