Imwas or Emmaus, known in classical times as Nicopolis, is a former Palestinian village ethnically cleansed by Israel, located 12 kilometres southeast of the city of Ramla and 26 kilometres from Jerusalem in the Latrun salient of the West Bank. Amoas is situated 230 metres east of Emmaus Nicopolis.
