Comlongon Castle

Comlongon Castle is a tower house dating from the later 15th century or early 16th century. It is located 1 kilometre west of the village of Clarencefield, and 10 kilometres south-east of Dumfries, in south west Scotland. Comlongon Castle is situated 2½ miles west of Flosh.

Brydekirk is a village in Annandale in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland located approximately 4 km north of Annan. The village was a planned the concept dating to 1800 from the Paisley-Dirom family of Mount Annan, set around a bridge over the River Annan. Brydekirk is situated 4½ miles east of Flosh.

Annan is a market town in Dumfries and Galloway in southwest Scotland, with a population of 8700 in 2022. Many town buildings are a warm red sandstone, but the main visitor attraction is the First World War munitions complex that made "the devil's porridge".
