Tal-y-llyn Lake

Tal-y-llyn Lake, also known as Talyllyn Lake and Llyn Myngul, is a large glacial ribbon lake in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is formed by a post-glacial massive landslip damming up the lake within the glaciated valley.

Cadair Idris or Cader Idris is a mountain in the Meirionnydd area of Gwynedd, Wales. It lies at the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park near the town of Dolgellau. Cadair Idris is situated 2 miles northwest of Dol-ffanog.

Craig Cwm Amarch is a mountain in Gwynedd, Wales. It is at the head of Cwm Amarch on Cader Idris in the Snowdonia National Park. It has an elevation of 791.9 m and a prominence of 79.2 m, and is classed as a Simm, a Hewitt and a Nuttall. Craig Cwm Amarch is situated 1½ miles northwest of Dol-ffanog.

Corris Uchaf, also known as Upper Corris, is a village in the south of Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, Wales. The slate quarries that surround Corris Uchaf are its most prominent feature. It lies about 1.5 miles north of Corris.

Corris is a small village in the hills of Gwynedd, on the border with Powys. In the 19th century it was a slate-mining town and has many remnants of those times, especially the narrow-gauge railway, which has been restored.

Aberllefenni is a village in the south of Gwynedd, Wales. It lies in the historic county of Merionethshire, in the valley of the Afon Dulas, and in the community of Corris. Aberllefenni is situated 2½ miles east of Dol-ffanog.
