Eriskay

Eriskay is an island in the Outer Hebrides or Western Isles, linked by causeway to South Uist, and extending 3 miles north-south and 2 miles east-west.

Gighay an uninhabited island off the northeast coast of Barra. It is one of ten islands in the Sound of Barra, a Site of Community Importance for conservation in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Gighay is situated 2½ miles southwest of Eileanan Dubha.

Ben Scrien, is the highest point on the Outer Hebridean island of Eriskay. Described as an apparently "uninspiring lump" it nevertheless commands fine views of Barra, South Uist, Skye, Tiree and Coll. Beinn Sciathan is situated 2 miles north of Eileanan Dubha.

Ardmhor is a small village in the north east of the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. In 2002 a small ferry port was built in the village to serve a new ferry link between Barra and Eriskay as part of the Sound of Barra Integrated Transport Project. Ardmore is situated 5 miles southwest of Eileanan Dubha.
