Eriskay

Eriskay is an island in the Outer Hebrides or Western Isles, linked by causeway to South Uist, and extending 3 miles north-south and 2 miles east-west.

Calvay

Calvay is a currently uninhabited island situated in the Sound of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides, at grid reference NF810126. It is one of ten islands in the Sound of Barra, a Site of Community Importance for conservation. Calvay is situated 1½ miles northwest of Hairteamul.

Beinn Sciathan

Ben Scrien, is the highest point on the Outer Hebridean island of Eriskay. Described as an apparently "uninspiring lump" it nevertheless commands fine views of Barra, South Uist, Skye, Tiree and Coll. Beinn Sciathan is situated 2½ miles west of Hairteamul.

Lochboisdale is the main village and port on the island of South Uist, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Lochboisdale is within the parish of South Uist, and is situated on the shore of Loch Baghasdail at the southern end of the A865. Lochboisdale is situated 6 miles northwest of Hairteamul.
