Deir al-Dubban was a small Palestinian village 26 kilometers northwest of Hebron, near the modern village of Luzit, between Jerusalem, and Ashkelon. The village was depopulated in the 1948 Palestine War. Deir ed Dubban is situated 2 km west of Masua lookout.

Horvat Midras, or Khirbet Drūsye in Arabic, is an archaeological site located in the central Judaean Lowlands, in modern-day Israel. It contains the remains of an ancient settlement situated on the slopes of a spur near an ancient road that once connected Jerusalem with the southern coastal plain. Horvat Midras is situated 2 km southeast of Masua lookout.
Tel Azekah

Azekah was an ancient town in the Shephela guarding the upper reaches of the Valley of Elah, about 26 km northwest of Hebron. The current tell by that name, also known as Tel Azeka or Tell Zakariya, has been identified with the biblical Azekah, dating back to the Canaanite period. Tel Azekah is situated 4 km north of Masua lookout.
