Great Mosque of Aleppo

The Great Mosque of Aleppo, also known as the Great Umayyad Mosque of Aleppo, was the largest and one of the oldest mosques in the city of Aleppo, Syria, first built during the Umayyad Caliphate. Great Mosque of Aleppo is situated 290 metres west of National Hospital.

The Ancient City of Aleppo is the historic city centre of Aleppo, Syria. Prior to the Syrian Civil War, many districts of the ancient city remained essentially unchanged since they were initially constructed between the 11th and 16th centuries. Aleppo Old City is situated 360 metres east of National Hospital.

The Al-Saffahiyah Mosque is a mosque and madrasa in Aleppo, located to the south-west of the Citadel, at "Al-Jalloum" district of the Ancient City of Aleppo, a World Heritage Site, to the east of Al-Shibani Church-School. Al-Saffahiyah Mosque is situated 140 metres southeast of National Hospital.
