The Ancient City of Aleppo is the historic city centre of Aleppo, Syria. Prior to the Syrian Civil War, many districts of the ancient city remained essentially unchanged since they were initially constructed between the 11th and 16th centuries. The Altun Bogha Mosque is a mosque in Aleppo, Syria. It is located in the Ancient part of the city, east to the Citadel of Aleppo. It is also known as the Mosque of Sahat al-Milh, as it was built near a large salt warehouse. Altun Bogha Mosque is situated 1¼ km west of جمعية الإحسان الخيرية.
