Waun Rydd is a mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park, in southern Powys, Wales. Its height is 769 m and it tops a large boggy plateau rising to the east of Pen y Fan. Waun Rydd is situated 2 miles southwest of Cwm Cwy.

Talybont Reservoir

Talybont Reservoir is the largest stillwater reservoir in the central Brecon Beacons at 318 acres. Talybont-on-Usk is 1.5 miles downstream of the dam. Construction of the current dam started in 1931 by Newport Corporation, and in 1939 the reservoir started supplying Newport with treated water. Talybont Reservoir is situated 2 miles south of Cwm Cwy.

Allt Lwyd is a top of Waun Rydd in the Brecon Beacons National Park, in southern Powys, Wales. The summit is heathery and marked by a small pile of stones. Allt Lwyd is situated 2 miles south of Cwm Cwy.

Aber, also known as Aber Village or the Welsh name Aberclydach, is a hamlet within the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales. It is centred on the confluence between the Clydach brook meets the Caerfanell river, and on a minor road which runs south from Talybont-on-Usk.
