Phoenician sanctuary of Kharayeb
Archaeological site
The Phoenician sanctuary of Kharayeb is a historic temple in the hinterland of Tyre, Southern Lebanon, that was excavated in three stages. In 1946, Maurice Chehab, head of Lebanon's Directorate General of Antiquities, led the first mission that revealed a Hellenistic period temple and thousands of clay figurines dating from the sixth-to-first centuries BC.

The Leontes Bridge is a ruined Roman bridge in Lebanon; it crossed the Litani River in the vicinity of Nahr Abou Assouad, 10 km north of Tyre. The bridge, which is dated to the 3rd or 4th century AD, featured a comparatively flat arch with a span-to-rise ratio of 3.1 to 1. Leontes Bridge is situated 3 km southwest of Kfar Beda.
