Craighall Reservoir

Craighall Reservoir, known locally as Craighall Dam, is one of a number of small reservoirs, situated around Neilston in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. The reservoir is located on the western slopes of Neilston Pad and has a number of well maintained public access paths. Craighall Reservoir is situated 1½ miles northeast of Long Craigs.

Neilston Pad, referred to locally as The Pad, is a distinctive hill in East Renfrewshire, situated a mile south of the village of Neilston. Its highest point is 261 metres and is characterised by a relatively flat summit plateau surrounded by steep slopes and distinctive forestry on its eastern side. Neilston Pad is situated 2 miles northeast of Long Craigs.

Lugton is a hamlet in East Ayrshire, Scotland with a population of 80 people. The A736 road runs through on its way from Glasgow, 15 miles to the north, to Irvine in North Ayrshire. Uplawmoor is the first settlement on this 'Lochlibo Road' to the north and Burnhouse is to the south. Lugton is situated 2½ miles west of Long Craigs.
