Resipole is a settlement on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in Highland, Scotland. Resipole is located on the A861 road on the northern shore of Loch Sunart.

Salen is a coastal village on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, overlooking Salen Bay which is an inlet of the sea loch, Loch Sunart. Located in the Scottish council area of Highland, it is on the road to Ardnamurchan Point, the most westerly point of mainland Britain. Salen is situated 2 miles west of Resipole, dun site.

Acharacle is a village on the landward end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, at the foot of Loch Shiel. The ford referred to in the name spans the River Shiel, and, according to legend, was the site of a battle between Somerled and a Norwegian warrior named Torquil. Acharacle is situated 3½ miles northwest of Resipole, dun site.
