Hejaz railway station is a former main railway station in central Damascus, Syria, close to the Marjeh Square. It was built as part of the Hejaz railway project. Hejaz Railway Station is situated 150 metres south of مكتبة النوري.

Cinemacity, formerly known as Cinema Dimashq, is a movie theater in Damascus, Syria. The theater was one of the largest single room cinemas in the Arab World, with a total seating capacity of 1500, the ground floor seated 1000 moviegoers and a large balcony seated 500. Cinema City is situated 110 metres northwest of مكتبة النوري.
