The Moscow triumphal gate

The Moscow Triumphal Gate is a Neoclassical triumphal arch in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The monument, built mainly in cast iron, was erected in 1834–1838 to commemorate the Russian victory in the Russo-Turkish War, 1828-1829. The Moscow triumphal gate is situated 160 metres southeast of Moskovskiye vorota.

Voskresensky Novodevichy monastery in St. Petersburg, Russia, is a convent of the St. Petersburg diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church near the Moscow outpost at 100 Moskovsky Prospekt. Novodevichy Convent is situated 670 metres north of Moskovskiye vorota.
