Jalan Besar MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line in Rochor, Singapore. The station is located under Jalan Besar, at the junction with Weld Road, hence its name.

Masjid Abdul Gaffoor and occasionally known as the Dunlop Street Mosque, is a historic mosque located in Little India, Singapore. Named after its founder Shaik Abdul Gaffoor, it was originally built in 1910 as a replacement of an older mosque located along Dunlop Street. Masjid Abdul Gaffoor is situated 220 metres southwest of Jalan Besar.

The Sultan Mosque is a historic mosque located within the Kampong Glam locality of Rochor, Singapore. Built in 1826 and later rebuilt into its present form in 1932, it is the most well-known mosque in the country and has been gazetted as a national monument. Sultan Mosque is situated 540 metres southeast of Jalan Besar.
