The French Concession is the area of Shanghai that the French government administered from 1849 until 1946. The tree-lined avenues and the many fine old houses in the area still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

The Site of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party is now preserved as a museum in Shanghai, China. It is located in Xintiandi, on 76 Xingye Road. Site of the First Congress of the CPC is situated 260 metres northeast of Parkway Health Center.

Shikumen Wulixiang Museum

The Shikumen Open House Museum is a museum in the Xintiandi area of Shanghai, China that presents a house in the traditional shikumen style. This is a small museum on the south side of the North Block of Xintiandi on Xingye Road that presents Shanghai life as it was around the 1920s and 30s in a shikumen-style "stone-gate" house. Shikumen Wulixiang Museum is situated 210 metres northeast of Parkway Health Center.
