Jamtli

Jamtli is the name of the regional open air museum of Jämtland and Härjedalen in Östersund, Sweden. It consists of an open-air museum with historical buildings, and an indoor museum with both permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Frösö Runestone

Frösöstenen is the northernmost raised runestone in Scandinavia and Jämtland's only runestone. It originally stood at the tip of ferry terminal on the sound between the island of Frösön and Östersund.

Östersund Arena, currently known as Jämtkraft Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Östersund, Sweden. Its current capacity is 8,466 and it was opened on 13 July 2007. Jämtkraft Arena is situated 3 km east of Hjälmtorpet.

Torvalla

Torvalla is a city district in southern Östersund, about six kilometres from the city core. The district has a population of around 8000. Torvalla is divided into 3 smaller areas: Fjällmon or Nedre Torvalla, Skogsmon or Övre Torvalla and Ängsmon or Bortre Torvalla. Torvalla is situated 9 km southeast of Hjälmtorpet.
