Musselburgh railway station serves the town of Musselburgh, in East Lothian, Scotland. It was opened by British Rail in 1988; it lies on the East Coast Main Line, 5+1⁄4 miles east of Edinburgh Waverley, and the North Berwick Line. Musselburgh railway station is situated 440 feet northeast of Queen Margaret University.

Newcraighall is a railway station on the Borders Railway in Scotland, which runs between Edinburgh Waverley and Tweedbank. The station, situated close to the A1 road 4 miles 54 chains south-east of Edinburgh Waverley, serves the suburb of Newcraighall and other parts of south-eastern Edinburgh such as Craigmillar and Niddrie. Newcraighall railway station is situated 3,500 feet west of Queen Margaret University.

Inveresk Lodge Garden is in the care of the National Trust for Scotland, in the village of Inveresk, East Lothian. The lodge lies about 10 km south-east of Edinburgh, and for over a century was one of the homes of the Wedderburn family. Newcraighall is a South-Eastern suburb of Edinburgh, Scotland. A former mining village, its prosperity was based on the Midlothian coalfields. The Newcraighall pit was known as 'Klondyke' and closed in the 1960s, work transferring to nearby Bilston Glen and in particular the last-to-close Monktonhall pit.
