The Rossitten Bird Observatory was the world's first ornithological observatory. It was sited at Rossitten, East Prussia, on the Curonian Spit on the south-eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Rossitten Bird Observatory is situated 3 km east of Muller’s Holm 1882.
