Osinovetsky Light

Osinovetsky Light is an active lighthouse in Lake Ladoga, in Leningrad Oblast, Russia. It is located on a headland near the southwest corner of the lake near Kokorevo.

The Road of Life was the set of ice road transport routes across Lake Ladoga to Leningrad during the Second World War. They were the only Soviet winter surface routes into the city while it was besieged by German Army Group North under Feldmarschall Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb. Road of Life is situated 1 km northwest of Osinovetsky Light.
