Sulaymaniya Takiya

The Sulaymaniyya Takiyya is a takiyya, located in Damascus, Syria, on the right bank of the Barada River. Commissioned by the Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the western building of the complex was built, following the plans of Mimar Sinan, between 1554 and 1559. Sulaymaniya Takiya is situated 180 metres southwest of Al Boustan.

Hejaz railway station is a former main railway station in central Damascus, Syria, close to the Marjeh Square. It was built as part of the Hejaz railway project. Hejaz Railway Station is situated 280 metres southeast of Al Boustan.
