Antipatris was a city built during the first century BC by Herod the Great, who named it in honour of his father, Antipater. The site, now a national park in central Israel, was inhabited from the Chalcolithic period to the Late Roman period. Antipatroos fortress;Tel Afek is situated 3 km west of Giv’at Tal.

Rosh HaAyin is a city in the Central District of Israel. It is located in the eastern ravine of the Sharon Plain, opposite the Samaria Mountains. The city is named after its location at the source of the Yarkon River.

It is located about 20 km east of Tel Aviv, on the Israeli side of the Green Line separating Israel and the West Bank, in the southern portion of the "Little Triangle" of Arab-Israeli towns and villages. Kafr Qasim is situated 2½ km northeast of Giv’at Tal.
