The Vorab is a double summit mountain of the Glarus Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Glarus and Grisons, Switzerland. The summit is also named Bündner Vorab to distinguish it from a lower summit named Glarner Vorab.

Panix Pass or Panixer Pass is a Swiss Alpine pass between the cantons of Glarus and Graubünden. The pass was once an important trade route between the canton of Glarus and Italy. Panix Pass is situated 3 km southwest of Birchblänggli.

The Vorab Glacier is a 2 km long glacier situated in the Glarus Alps in the cantons of Glarus and Graubünden. It lies on the east side of the Vorab, between 2,600 and 3,000 metres above sea level. Vorab Glacier is situated 3½ km east of Birchblänggli.

Pigniu is situated 8 km south of Birchblänggli.
