Buchanan Castle is a ruined castle in Stirlingshire, Scotland, located 1 mile west of the village of Drymen. The house was commissioned by the 4th Duke of Montrose and built in 1852–1858 as a home for the Montrose family, serving as such until 1925.

The current settlement was mostly purpose-built in the 18th century for the estate workers of James Graham, 3rd Duke of Montrose, who lived at nearby Buchanan Castle. Buchanan Smithy is situated 1½ miles north of Catter House.
