The Templo Mayor was the main temple of the Mexica people in their capital city of Tenōchtitlan, which is now Mexico City. Its architectural style belongs to the late Postclassic period of Mesoamerica. Templo Mayor is situated 430 metres northeast of Edificio Palma.

The neighborhood is shaped like a long triangle with the boundaries: Paseo de la Reforma on the north, Avenida Chapultepec on the south, and Eje 1 Poniente on the east. Colonia Juárez is situated 2½ km west of Edificio Palma.
