Glenfinnan is a village in the Western Highlands of Scotland, between Fort William and Mallaig. Standing at the head of Loch Shiel, it's famous as the place where "Bonnie Prince Charlie" launched his 1745 Jacobite rebellion.

Kinlochiel is a hamlet on the north west shore of Loch Eil in Lochaber, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland. It is a small, rural area that consists of a few scattered houses on the A830 to Mallaig, after Fassfern and before Glenfinnan. Kinlocheil is situated 4½ miles east of Glenfinnan Monument.
