Scolpaig Tower is a Georgian folly located near the village of Scolpaig on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The name probably derives from the Old Norse scolpvik, or 'Scolp Bay'. Scolpaig Tower is situated 3,300 feet southwest of Loch Sniogrivat.

Oronsay is a tidal island off North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Lying to the north of Vallaquie Strand, the island has been uninhabited since the Highland Clearances. Oronsay is situated 2½ miles northeast of Loch Sniogrivat.
