Loch Ore is a loch situated in Fife, Scotland. It forms the core of Lochore Meadows Country Park. It is used mainly for leisure purposes, especially yachting, although the uneven depth can make speed boating problematic. Loch Ore is situated 2 miles southwest of Kirkness.

Benarty Hill, locally simply Benarty, rises above and to the west of Ballingry, in the west of Fife, Scotland. The summit ridge, known as Mulla Craig, forms the boundary with Perth and Kinross. Benarty Hill is situated 2 miles west of Kirkness.

Fife power station was a 120 megawatt gas-fired combined cycle gas turbine generating station at Cardenden in Fife, Scotland. It was a 1+1 configuration module built around a 74 MW General Electric Frame 6F gas turbine providing for a combined cycle output of 109 MW, exhaust duct firing is employed to reach the stations maximum output. Fife power station is situated 3,700 feet southeast of Kirkness.
