Aberdeen is the third-largest city in Scotland, United Kingdom, with a population of almost 200,000. It is a harbour city on Scotland's north-east coast, approximately 120 miles north of Edinburgh and 400 miles north of London, where the Rivers Dee and Don meet the North Sea.
Dundee

Dundee is an industrial city and port, historically part of Angus county in northeast Scotland. It stands on the north bank of the River Tay, which here broadens out into the North Sea, and in 2022 had a population of 148,000.

Perth is a city in Perth and Kinross in North East Scotland, with a population in 2016 of 47,430. It stands at a point where the River Tay channels between hills, turns sharply and becomes tidal and navigable.

Fife is a county in the north east of Scotland, with a population in 2019 of 371,910. It's a lowland peninsula, with the broad Firth of Forth to the south and the smaller Firth of Tay to the north, and great bridges for its gateways.
Perth and Kinross

Perth and Kinross is a council area in the northeast of Scotland. It straddles the divide between lowlands and highlands, as the hills suddenly rear up from the broad valleys, and in 2019 it had a population of 151,290.
