Opened in 2014, it was constructed on the site of the former National Stadium, which stood from 1973 to 2010. National Stadium is situated 790 metres north of Camelot-by-the-Water.

Tanjong Rhu MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast Line in Kallang, Singapore. Situated at the junction of Tanjong Rhu Road and Tanjong Rhu Place, the station serves nearby condominiums such as Pebble Bay and Casuarina Cove. Tanjong Rhu is situated 250 metres west of Camelot-by-the-Water.
