Gustav Heinemann Bridge

Gustav Heinemann Bridge is a Vierendeel truss bridge connecting Berlin-Moabit and Tiergarten in Berlin, Germany. It was designed by Max Dudler. The bridge began construction in May 2005 and was completed on June 30, 2005.

One of the best-known landmarks of the country, it was erected on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to Brandenburg an der Havel, the former capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg. Brandenburg Gate is situated 1 km southeast of Gustav Heinemann Bridge.
