Knockdavie Castle is a now-ruined 17th-century house in Burntisland parish, Fife, Scotland. The name probably derives from the Gaelic cnoc dubh -in " black hill ", with cnoc dabhoch “the hill farm” another theory. Knockdavie Castle is situated 2,900 feet west of Orrock.

Aberdour Castle is in the village of Easter Aberdour, Fife, Scotland. Parts of the castle date from around 1200, making Aberdour one of the two oldest datable standing castles in Scotland, along with Castle Sween in Argyll, which was built at around the same time. Aberdour Castle is situated 2½ miles southwest of Orrock.
