The First Baptist Church is a historic church at 1 Park Street in Waterville, Maine. Built in 1826, it is the city's oldest standing public building. It was renovated in 1875 to a design by Francis H. First Baptist Church is situated 3,100 feet northeast of Oxbow Nature Preserve.

Fort Halifax is a former British outpost on the banks of the Sebasticook River, just above its mouth at the Kennebec River, in Winslow, Maine. Originally built as a wooden palisaded fort in 1754, during the French and Indian War, only a single blockhouse survives. Fort Halifax is situated 4,000 feet southeast of Oxbow Nature Preserve.
