Dorothea quarry is a disused slate quarry in the Nantlle Valley area in North Wales. It covers a large area near the village of Talysarn and contains three flooded deep lakes. Dorothea quarry is situated 2,000 feet north of Ty Mawr.

Y Fron is situated 1½ miles northeast of Ty Mawr.
