Dorothea quarry is a disused slate quarry in the Nantlle Valley area in North Wales. It covers a large area near the village of Talysarn and contains three flooded deep lakes. Dorothea quarry is situated 3,000 feet north of Tyn Yr Weirglodd Quarry.

Mynydd Graig Goch is the western end peak of the Nantlle Ridge, and is a subsidiary summit of Craig Cwm Silyn. It is also the most westerly 2000 ft peak in Wales. Mynydd Graig Goch is situated 2½ miles south of Tyn Yr Weirglodd Quarry.
