Leurbost is a village on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It is approximately 6 miles south of Stornoway on the road to Harris. Leurbost is situated 1½ miles southwest of Rainish Eilean Mòr.

Crossbost is a village on the Isle of Lewis in the parish of North Lochs, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. It is located approximately ten miles away from Stornoway, the main town on the island. Crossbost is situated 2 miles south of Rainish Eilean Mòr.

Stornoway is the main town on Lewis and the admin centre for all of Scotland's Outer Hebrides. Indeed it's the only town in these islands; it has the best amenities and transport links, and it's the obvious base for exploring both Lewis and Harris.
