Crettyard is a hamlet in County Laois, Ireland. It is on the border with County Kilkenny, at the junction of the N78 and the R431 roads. Carlow town is 14 km to the east, and Kilkenny city is 22 km to the south. Crettyard is situated 4½ km north of Croghtenclogh Ringfort.

Bilboa is a settlement located on the boundaries of counties Carlow, Laois and Kilkenny in Ireland. A bridge, a short distance from the village and built c. 1800, is known as the 'Three Counties Bridge'. Bilboa is situated 5 km east of Croghtenclogh Ringfort.
