The Basilica of San Fedele in Como is located in the city center. The present Romanesque church dates from 1120 and is dedicated to the Fidelis of Como.

The Giuseppe Garibaldi Historical Museum was established in 1932 in Como, northern Italy. It is dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi in memory of his activities in the city 1866, and his role in the Unification of Italy. Garibaldi Museum is situated 140 metres southeast of Parco Vittorio Emanuele.
