Slains Castle, also known as New Slains Castle to distinguish it from the nearby Old Slains Castle, is a ruined castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It overlooks the North Sea from its cliff-top site one kilometre east of Cruden Bay. New Slains Castle is situated 1½ miles southwest of Mussel Craig.

Remote Radar Head Buchan or RRH Buchan is an air defence radar station operated by the Royal Air Force. It is located at Stirling Hill, 3.2 kilometres south of Peterhead on the Aberdeenshire coast of northeast Scotland. RRH Buchan is situated 1½ miles north of Mussel Craig.
