Paya Lebar MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit interchange station on the East–West Line and Circle Line in Singapore. Despite the name, this station is not located in the Paya Lebar planning area but rather along Paya Lebar Road, which is in Geylang, near the junction with Sims Avenue. Paya Lebar is situated 340 metres northeast of Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah.

The temple was originally located in Potong Pasir from where it was moved three more times before finally coming to the present location, adjacent to Foo Hai Ch'an Buddhist Monastery, in front of Paya Lebar MRT station exit C at Geylang East Avenue 2. Sri Sivan Temple is situated 410 metres northwest of Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah.
