Cathcart Cemetery is a cemetery in East Renfrewshire, Scotland, which was opened in 1876. Holmwood House is the finest and most elaborate residential villa designed by the Scottish architect Alexander "Greek" Thomson. It is also rare in retaining much of its original interior decor, and being open to the public. Holmwood House is situated 1,300 feet east of Cathcart Cemetery.

The station, which opened in 1903, is managed by ScotRail and lies on the Neilston branch of the Cathcart Circle Lines. Muirend railway station is situated 1,800 feet west of Cathcart Cemetery.
Cathcart Castle

Cathcart Castle was a 15th-century castle, located in what is now Linn Park in the Cathcart area of southern Glasgow, Scotland. The castle was abandoned in the 18th century, and the remaining ruins were pulled down in 1980, leaving only foundations visible. Cathcart Castle is situated 2,400 feet northeast of Cathcart Cemetery.
