Archaeological site
Strichen stone circle is a Megalithic recumbent stone circle located near Strichen, Aberdeenshire in the north east of Scotland. It has been destroyed twice and in the early 1980s was excavated and reconstructed. Strichen stone circle is situated 2,100 feet northwest of Strichen Mains.
Mormond White Horse

Mormond Hill is a broad eminence in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, not far from Fraserburgh. Its twin summits reach heights of 754 feet and 767 feet; the higher of the two is known as Waughton Hill. Mormond White Horse is situated 2 miles northeast of Strichen Mains.
