Cuminestown is a village in the Formartine area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and sits at the centre of the parish of Monquhitter. It is approximately 6 miles from Turriff and New Deer, 10 miles from Macduff and Banff and 15 miles from Fraserburgh. Cuminestown is situated 2½ miles north of Rushhead.

Garmond is a linear village in Monquhitter Parish which is located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It was founded c.1760. Like the neighbouring villages of Cuminestown and New Byth, the residential part is located on the crest of a hill, the valley below being largely given over to farmland. Garmond is situated 3½ miles north of Rushhead.
