St George Monastery

Saint George Monastery or Deir Mar Georges is a historic Greek Orthodox monastery in the village of al-Mishtaya in the "Valley of the Christians", belonging to the Homs Governorate in northwestern Syria, the place located just a few kilometers north of the famous castle Krak des Chevaliers. St George Monastery is situated 2½ km southeast of Jawār al ‘Afş.

The Lady of the Valley is a Marian shrine inaugurated on 16 August 2009, located in Al-Nasirah, Wadi al-Nasara in Syria. The statue is built near the Lady of the Valley Church on top of Mount of the Pilgrim, which is dedicated to Saint George.
