Abu al-Fida Mosque

The Abu'l-Fida Mosque is a mosque and mausoleum in Hama, Syria, located on the banks of the Orontes River. The mausoleum was erected by al-Mu’ayyid Isma’il in 1327 CE, during the Ayyubid-era; and the mosque dates from the Mamluk era. Abu al-Fida Mosque is situated 3 km southeast of Ad Dahiriyah.

The Great Mosque of Hama, is a mosque in Hama, Syria. It is located approximately 400 metres west of the citadel. Built in the 8th century CE, it was largely destroyed in the 1982 Hama massacre and subsequently rebuilt. Great Mosque is situated 3½ km southeast of Ad Dahiriyah.

The Azm Palace is an 18th-century Ottoman-era palace in Hama, Syria at the center of the city on the banks of the Orontes River, about 400 meters south of the Hama Citadel. Azm Palace is situated 3½ km southeast of Ad Dahiriyah.

Hama is a city in Syria with a population around 400,000. The city is a relatively conservative one dominated by hijabs and burkas. Much of the old city was destroyed in the Hama massacre in 1982.

Nearby localities include Qamhana to the east, Shihat Hama to the southeast, Kafr al-Tun to the southwest, al-Majdal to the west, Mhardeh and Halfaya to the northwest and Taybat al-Imam to the northeast. Khitab is situated 7 km northwest of Ad Dahiriyah.
