Antipatris was a city built during the first century BC by Herod the Great, who named it in honour of his father, Antipater. The site, now a national park in central Israel, was inhabited from the Chalcolithic period to the Late Roman period. Antipatroos fortress;Tel Afek is situated 1¼ km northwest of Tsomet Rosh Ha‘Ayin.

Migdal Afek, also Migdal Tsedek, is a national park on the southeastern edge of Rosh HaAyin, Israel. The ruins of a fortified manor house built by a sheikh during the 19th century, among which remains of the Crusader castle of Mirabel can be seen, are today known in Hebrew as Migdal Afek or Migdal Tsedek. Migdal Afeq (Mirabel Fortress) Ruins is situated 2½ km southeast of Tsomet Rosh Ha‘Ayin.

It is situated in north Rosh HaAyin near the Kesem Interchange which is located at the intersection of Highway 5 and the Cross-Israel Highway. Rosh HaAyin–North railway station is situated 3 km north of Tsomet Rosh Ha‘Ayin.
