Pu Mori

Pumori is a mountain on the Nepal–China border in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas. Pumori lies just eight kilometres west of Mount Everest. Pumori, meaning "the Mountain Daughter" in Sherpa language, was named by George Mallory. Pu Mori is situated 2½ km east of Khumbu Himal.

Kalapattar

Kala Patthar is a notable landmark located on the south ridge of Pumori in the Nepali Himalayas above Gorakshep. Although not a proper mountain, with a prominence of only 10 m, the ascent of Kala Patthar is very popular with trekkers in the region of Mount Everest since it provides the most accessible closeup view of Everest. Kalapattar is situated 3½ km southeast of Khumbu Himal.

Gorak Shep, also spelled Gorakshep, is a settlement nestled on the periphery of a frozen lakebed blanketed with sand in Nepal, sharing its name with the locale. Gorakshep is situated 5 km southeast of Khumbu Himal.

Khumbu Icefall

The Khumbu Icefall is located at the head of the Khumbu Glacier and the foot of the Western Cwm. It lies at an elevation of 5,486 metres on the Nepalese slopes of Mount Everest, not far above Base Camp and southwest of the summit. Khumbu Icefall is situated 7 km east of Khumbu Himal.

Lobuche

Lobuche is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche is situated 8 km south of Khumbu Himal.
